Dogs A’ Flying offers agility classes, focus and reactive dog classes, and private instruction.  Private lessons can be scheduled on problem-solving, relationship issues, clicker training, reactivity issues, agility, or basic obedience training. I hope you enjoy this website.

News Alert!  Ginny and her Boston Terrier, Muligan, qualified to compete in this year's AKC Invitational!  To get invited, Muligan had to be among the top 5 Boston Terriers in the country earning speed points at the highest level, excellent, in AKC agility during the year ending on June 29, 2008.  Muligan is just 3 years old so Ginny has done a terrific job and they are undeniably an outstanding team!

New classes start in September.  A reactive dog/focus class will also be provided.  Go to the classes page for more info.

The training facility is located on one grassy acre in Eagle Idaho. The completely fenced outside agility ring includes all agility equipment meeting American Kennel Club standards. There is ample parking and easy access.

Trainer, Mary Hunter, has put titles on her three Belgian Shepherds, and has been teaching agility since 1999. Katie made it to the top rankings Belgian Sheepdogs in AKC; #1 ranked in 2003, #2 in 2004 and #1 for lifetime achievement, #3 in 2005. Katie also won the Top Belgian Sheepdog at AKC’s first Agility Invitational in December 2006 and was also 20th finisher in over 100 dogs in the 24 inch jump height at the Invitational. Katie accomplished her success at the Invitational at the age of 8 after being essentially retired from agility for a year. Dani started competing in agility in March 2006 and finished her excellent titles a year later and is now working on earning her MACH title. Rosie, at the age of 12 in 2007, would be very happy to do any kind of training and competing if only there was enough time. Rosie has novice through open AKC obedience and agility titles.

Mary’s students have done well along with having a good time with their dogs. One finished her MACH title and competed in 2007 at the AKC Nationals.  Others have zoomed through their novice and open titles in short order and are now competing at the excellent level.

Mary strives to provide foundation agility skills while teaching her students to be the best dog trainers possible so they can move confidently into a bright future with their beloved dog and partner.

Mary hopes to provide canine freestyle instruction in the near future.  In the meantime, training is provided in Eagle Idaho, just west of Boise.
