Pam Overton and Babe OA OAJ NAC NAJ TN-N WV-N HN-N
When the Overtons rescued Babe from the Idaho Humane Society in January, 2007, they had no idea that she would develop into the agility dog she is today.  Babe was shy and withdrawn.  They did not even know she could bark for months.

Babe and Pam started agility classes with Mary Hunter that spring to help build a bond between owner and dog as well as develop self esteem for Babe. At first Babe did not seem to be interested in the training, however after the first year she surprised her owners and started to excel in her training.  Babe and Pam worked hard the next year and one-half both growing to love dog agility and perfecting their talents.

Pam and Babe started competing in sanctioned trials in 2009. The judge at their first trial run was so impressed, she announced to all it was the best first time run of any team she had ever witnessed.  After the first two AKC trials, Babe earned her novice titles in Jumpers with Weaves and Standard Agility.

In April, 2010, Pam reported that Babe has now earned her NADAC Novice Regular, Jumpers, Tunnelers, Hoopers, & Weavers titles. She needs one more Touch and Go along with 2 Chances runs to complete all of her novice titles.

Pam also reported that Babe just received her Open Standard, Jumpers with Weaves, and Novice FAST titles in in AKC competition.  On to Excellent!

They continue to enjoy their training, competing, meeting a great group of other dog agility participants and growing as a team.
