Nancy Stone and Shadow, LandmarkMontage Shadow Puppet AXJ AX XF OAC OJC TN-O WV-N TG-N CGC, earned their MACH (Master Agility Championship) title on October 30, 2010 in Ririe Idaho at the Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training Club Agility Trial. They did it in style with a 2nd in Standard, and a 3rd in Jumpers, and also a Q in Excellent FAST for a Triple Q.  In fact, they have achieved Triple Q’s both Friday and Saturday too!  Nancy and Shadow are a very consistent, competent team that can handle most every course that comes their way, (despite my efforts to set up impossible practice courses).   Nancy has done a great job of training Shadow.  Congratulations Nancy and MACH Shadow.

  Shadow and I began our agility career with private lessons from Mary when Shadow was just under three months old.

Mary made lessons so much fun that agility was soon Shadow's favorite activity.

It wasn't always easy -

But it WAS entertaining and informative.

At less than three years of age, Shadow was competing at the excellent level. We couldn't have done it without Mary. She's the best!

Here's a quick summary:

April 25, 2005 - Shadow is born - LandmarkMontage Shadow Puppet

July 9, 2005 - Shadow has his first agility lesson with Mary  

October 13, 2006 - Shadow competes in his first AKC competition in Boise

October 28, 2006 - Shadow competes in his second AKC competition in Rigby and receives his NA and NAJ titles in his first two runs

March 10-11, 2007 - Shadow earns his OAJ in his third AKC competition in Moscow

March 16-18, 2007 - Shadow gets his NF title in Caldwell. (fourth AKC competition)

June 14, 2007 - Shadow gets his OA title in Blackfoot (fifth AKC competition) Welcome to Excellent level competition!

July 2008 - Shadow earned his Excellent Agility, Excellent Jumpers, and Excellent FAST titles in the last few months.  They are now working on their MACH title. 

June 2010 - Here's Nancy and Shadow on a challenging jumpers run in which only a few dogs qualified.  They sure smoothed it out. Shadow has 14 Double Q's and lots of points toward his MACH.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rna7Wmpx2o
